About the Author
Christopher Webber is an American author and poet. He is the author of several novels, including An American Prayer, and his work has been translated into more than 20 languages. Webber has received numerous awards for his writing, including the National Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize.
Webber was born in New York City in 1960. He graduated from Harvard University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Webber currently lives in San Francisco with his wife and two children.
